Chatuchak is known for a Saturday and Sunday market grid at MRT Kamphaeng Phet, and it fits one morning if you go early. On weekdays use Or Tor Kor next door instead of hunting an empty JJ plan.

Chatuchak Weekend Market is a weekend grid, not a daily bazaar, and ride MRT Kamphaeng Phet and use Exit 2 or 3. Sections sprawl; pick plants, crafts, or clothes and leave by 15:00 when heat and tour groups peak. A 2026 MRT tap from Sukhumvit (Asok) is one line and usually under 40 THB.

Or Tor Kor is the daily fresh hall next door, and use it Monday to Friday. Do not combine Chatuchak and the Grand Palace on the same morning, and sleep stays on where to stay. This page is access, not a stall map.

How to do one market morning

  • Rail: MRT Kamphaeng Phet. BTS Mo Chit is a longer walk.
  • Cash: Many stalls still want notes. ATMs sit at the edge.
  • Bag: One tote. You will not want a suitcase in the aisles.
  • Exit: 14:00 to 15:00. The last hour is heat, not bargains.
