This site is for Western first-time planners who still want hyper-local utility: which BTS gate, which pier, which soi after dark. Start in Bangkok, then fork north or south with the monsoon.

Use the 7-day and 14-day itineraries as a spine. Swap the south coast when the monsoon says so. A 2026 BTS tap is 17 to 62 THB. The Airport Rail Link is about 30 minutes to Phaya Thai. Ticketed sights live on the Attractions hub: Grand Palace 500 THB, Wat Pho 300 THB, Maya Bay park fee 400 THB. Book stays and airport cars on Trip.com. Common questions

How many days do you need?
Seven days covers Bangkok plus one more city. Fourteen days covers Bangkok, the north, and one south coast. Do not stack Phuket and Samui on a first week.
Which airport for Bangkok?
Suvarnabhumi (BKK) handles most long-haul flights. Don Mueang (DMK) is the low-cost hub. Both have Trip.com airport cars and a rail link into town.
