Chiang Mai night markets

Chiang Mai night markets are known for two walking streets rather than one bazaar: Sunday fits Ratchadamnoen and Saturday fits Wua Lai. The Night Bazaar on Chang Khlan is a daily tourist strip.

Sunday Walking Street closes Ratchadamnoen from Tha Phae Gate toward Wat Phra Singh, about 17:00 to 22:00. Saturday is Wua Lai, south of the moat, the same evening window, and a 2026 market plate is often 60 to 150 THB. Sleep inside the Old City if Sunday is the night, and sleep nearer Chiang Mai Gate if Saturday is the night.

The Night Bazaar on Chang Khlan is daily and tourist by design, and use it only if you already sleep south or on the Ping bank. Do not combine both walking streets and a 07:00 Suthep run on the same weekend without a nap. See night markets for the national list.
