Haad Rin is one beach on the south-east tip, and that is where the Full Moon Party is held. The rest of Koh Phangan ignores it, and party-week boats may drop at Haad Rin instead of Thong Sala. Read the ticket. A normal Lomprayah from Bangrak or Maenam still lands at Thong Sala in about 30 minutes, then you road across.
Rooms sell out around the moon, and a 2026 seat Samui to Thong Sala is often 400 to 700 THB. If you want sleep, open where to stay and pick Srithanu or Thong Nai Pan, and do not book a yoga week next to Haad Rin in party week.
