Victory Monument food
Victory Monument is the boat-noodle address of Bangkok, a knot of lanes off the roundabout where each spiced pork or beef bowl is only a few mouthfuls. Nobody stops at one; the stacked empty bowls are the bill, and BTS Victory Monument drops you right there.

The boat-noodle shops sit in the lanes off the Victory Monument roundabout. A bowl is 15 to 20 THB. Each one is a few mouthfuls, so order five. BTS Victory Monument is the stop. Use the boat noodle dish page for the pork-or-beef choice and the chili vinegar.
The monument itself is a traffic circle, not a dining room. Eat, then leave. Do not add a second famous queue the same afternoon. Grilled pork and drinks fill the side stalls if you want one extra plate at 40 to 80 THB.
How to eat it
- Choose pork or beef before you sit. The pots are different.
- Add chili vinegar yourself. The bowl is already seasoned.
- Stop at five unless you are still hungry. They are small on purpose.
