Pai top attractions
Pai attractions are known for a canyon rim and a walking-street night, and they fit two sleeps after Route 1095. The winding drive is the cost of getting here, not a free viewpoint on the way through.

Open Pai for the town grid first, and Walking Street is the evening. Pai Canyon and the bamboo bridge are the morning, and hot springs sit farther out; use a songthaew, not a hopeful walk. Haze in March and April can flatten the rim even when the road is dry.
Arrive via Chiang Mai to Pai, and a 2026 van seat is often 210 to 250 THB for 3 to 4.5 hours. Do not treat a canyon selfie as a reason to skip Chiang Mai wats, and see day trips if you want Mae Hong Son next.

Common questions
- Is Pai Canyon a full day?
- No. It is a morning. Keep the afternoon for town or springs.
- Worth it in haze season?
- The street still works. The rim does not. Check air quality in March and April.
