Charoenkrung and Chinatown Soi Nana
Charoenkrung is known for seated cocktail rooms, not a Walking Street crawl. Use it after a riverside dinner if you want a door and a bartender.
This is not Sukhumvit. You come for rooms with a door and a bartender who still has time. Chinatown Soi Nana is a small soi of cocktail bars, not Nana on Sukhumvit. A 2026 crafted drink is often 400 to 650 THB.
Stay riverside or on Charoenkrung. Grab to Thonglor after if you insist on a second neighborhood the same night.
Rooms
BKK Social Club at Four Seasons: jackets are not required, standards are. Go earlier than you think.
Bamboo Bar at the Mandarin Oriental: the historic room. Book the room, not a surprise walk-in on a Saturday.
Teens of Thailand: a small Soi Nana room, nameless-looking until you know the door.
Asia Today: another Soi Nana room, tighter and later.
Tropic City: tiki and a louder crowd than the two above. Still Charoenkrung, not Walking Street.

Common questions
- Do you need a booking?
- For the small cocktail rooms, a note on Instagram or a walk-in early is enough most weeknights. Weekends fill. Beach clubs want a daybed or a table if you care about shade.
