Nai Yang and Mai Khao
Nai Yang and Mai Khao are known for airport-close sand on Sirinat park, and they fit a late HKT landing or a quiet last night. They are not a first Kata swim week.
Back to Phuket
Nai Yang is the casuarina beach beside the airport fence, and mai Khao is the longer, quieter sand to the north. Both sit on or next to Sirinat National Park, and Trisara is the gated north-west stay if the villa is the week. This is not Patong.
A car from HKT is often 10 to 25 minutes, far shorter than the 45 to 90 minute west-coast run to Kata. The Smart Bus is 100 THB if it still serves your stop. Book these beaches for a late arrival or an early flight, not as a first village week. See where to stay.
When the airport coast is the right pin
- Yes: A 22:00 landing, a 07:00 departure, a quiet last night.
- No: A first two-night swim with walkable dinner. Use Kata.
- Turtles: Mai Khao nesting is seasonal and signed. Stay off taped sand.
