Friday night is the wholesale session, roughly 18:00 to midnight, louder and more bulk. About 15,000 stalls sit in 27 numbered sections. Pick two or three sections. A full loop is a lost afternoon.
BTS Mo Chit Exit 1 drops you on the Kamphaeng Phet Road edge. MRT Kamphaeng Phet Exit 2 opens almost into Sections 1 and 2, which is the cleaner start in heat. Or Tor Kor Market sits across Kamphaeng Phet Road: air-conditioned produce, fruit, and curry shops, useful when JJ is a crush. A 2026 BTS tap is 17 to 62 THB. Bring cash. Cards appear, then fail at the stall you want.
Which gate and which sections
Plants and pots sit toward the north-west sections. Crafts, home goods, and clothes fill the middle numbers. Food courts and drink sois shift; follow the crowd at lunch. Pets have their own rules and a separate mood. If you only have two hours, enter at MRT Kamphaeng Phet, walk Sections 1 to 8, eat at Or Tor Kor, and leave.
