Stay here for malls and connections, not sois. Siam is the BTS knot. Silom walks to Lumphini and Sala Daeng.

Siam is the BTS interchange for the Sukhumvit and Silom lines, plus air-con malls. The Airport Rail Link ends at Phaya Thai. Change there to the BTS and ride two stops to Siam. The ARL from Suvarnabhumi is about 30 minutes. Stay one night if you land late and have not picked a neighborhood yet. Stay at Silom if you have meetings or want Lumphini at dawn.
