A family fortnight is known for three hotel bases and no island hop. Sleep three nights at a Bangkok riverside resort with a pool. Use the Chao Phraya tourist boat for a low-stress river hour. Book SEA LIFE Ocean World at Siam Paragon when the heat wins. Street taxis rarely have a child seat. 4 Fly Chiang Mai
Direct about 1 hour 15 minutes. Pre-booked CNX van with seats. Pool hotel near the moat or Nimman.
5 Old City morning
One or two wats before the heat. Juice and a rest. Night market only if bedtime can move.
6 Ethical elephant half-day
Named sanctuary, no riding. Half-day, not a 10-hour loop. Van with seats both ways.
7 Bua Thong sticky waterfalls
Water morning north of the city. Grip shoes. Back before late afternoon.
8 Fly the beach
CNX to HKT or USM. Six-night shallow resort: Kata, Kamala, Bang Tao, or Choeng Mon / Bophut.
9 Beach reset
No boat. Shallow water and the hotel pool. Learn the resort shuttle.
10 Quiet bay day
Same beach. Optional short longtail only if the kids already nap in a boat.

No new island. Confirm the airport van and seats for exit day.

Wide buffer. Same-day long-haul from a south airport needs a named connection, not a hope.
