Four Seasons Bangkok is a Chao Phraya resort on Charoenkrung, not a Sukhumvit tower. Two infinity pools, a 35-metre lap pool, and rooms that face the water. The official door is 300/1 Charoen Krung Road, Sathorn 10120, +66 2 032 0888. You sit between old Bang Rak shipping offices and Sathorn condos.

There is no Skytrain on the doorstep. BTS Saphan Taksin is a short Grab or a walk plus heat. The hotel boat and the public river boats are the correct palace move. Capella sits further along the same bank. Mandarin Oriental is the historic neighbour at 48 Oriental Avenue. Book this when the evenings are the river path and BKK Social Club, not Soi 11.

Charoenkrung on foot

South of the hotel, Charoenkrung is warehouses turned galleries, Tropic City, and TCDC. North is Bang Rak, the Assumption Cathedral block, and the Oriental pier. Dinner can stay on property or walk to the shophouses. Do not treat this as a BTS-first stay. If you need Ploenchit retail every morning, book Rosewood instead.

Airport cars from BKK take 45 to 90 minutes depending on the expressway. Confirm the transfer on the voucher. The first afternoon is a pool, not the Grand Palace.
