Rosewood Bangkok

Rosewood Bangkok is known for a Ploenchit tower with the Skytrain in the basement. Use it for city days. Use the river hotels if you want water.

Rosewood Bangkok is a Ploenchit tower with BTS Exit 1 in the basement. It opened 31 March 2019 at 1041/38 Ploenchit Road, Lumphini, Pathumwan 10330, +66 2 080 0088. One hundred and fifty-eight rooms. Ride to Siam, Thonglor, or Saphan Taksin without standing in Ploenchit rain.

This is central Pathumwan: Central Embassy, Wireless Road embassies, and a short walk toward Lumphini Park. It is not a quiet river path. Book it when the itinerary is city. Book Four Seasons or the Oriental when the itinerary is water.

Ploenchit and Wireless

Breakfast, then BTS. That is the stay. Dinner can be the hotel or a Grab to Thonglor. Soi 11 is one stop plus a walk if someone in the party insists. The park is the morning reset if the air is clear.

BKK and DMK are both about 45 minutes in decent traffic and much more in rain. Use the hotel car. Ploenchit Road drop-offs clog; do not plan a tight international departure from a 09:00 checkout without a buffer.

Common questions

Do you need a car if you stay here?
Not for the city core. The BTS link is the product. Keep a car for the airports and for dinner off the rail after midnight.
